SFHA Elite Development Fund
Each year our elite athletes compete for eight months in both in indoor and outdoor field hockey. On average, approximately 10 hours per week is dedicated to training. This is in addition to having full-time commitments such as school and family. Many athletes suffer the financial strain of not being able to have a full-time job, which makes it difficult for them to pay the expenses associated with playing competitive field hockey. The SFHA Elite Development Fund provides much needed resources, freeing up our talented athletes to pursue their goals, dreams and realize their full potential.
