 
The Saskatchewan Field Hockey Association has elite programs for boys and girls who wish to pursue the game at a more competitive level. These provincial teams compete annually at the national level and every four years at the Western Canada Summer Games.
The 2011 U16 and U19 Provincial teams will begin practicing in mid-May, and will have the opportunit to participate in a variety of camps, exhibition games, and tournaments throughout the spring and summer. Check out the schedules posted below.
The cost to join one of the Outdoor U16 or 19 teams is $125. Program participants must also pay the annual SFHA membership fee of $40 once between April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012 in order to be insured. Participants also must pay all travel, accomodation, food, and coach expenses for out-of-town trips and tournaments, as well as a small levy for the camp/exhibition series in Regina June 4-5. Athletes born in 1995-96 may play games for both the U16 and U19 teams, if approved by the Technical Director.
