The Saskatchewan Field Hockey Association offers several options for the recreational player.
2007 Mixed Indoor Recreational Team
 Periodically, the Saskatchewan Field Hockey Association will form teams to attend tournaments around the country. This year a team attended the University of Alberta's mixed invitational tournament. The teams that compete in these tournaments are both competitive and recreational, playing at a high level, but not practicing on a regular basis. Keep your eyes open for the next opportunity to join one of these teams.
This March a team of Saskies, composed of current U19, Senior men and Senior women, attended the University of Alberta's mixed invitational tournament. The event consisted of 16 hours of driving, 6 indoor games, a tournament social and a ton of fun. Overall the old and young Saskies pulled off a second place finish and is looking forward to next year's invitational tournament.
2008 Adult Indoor Recreational League
The Adult Indoor Recreational League is a mixed league for men and women of all skill levels. The league runs from January 19 to March 29. Games are once a week on Saturday's from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. (with the exception of one Sunday) for a total of 10 weeks. It's a great way to learn and play the indoor game in a fun, energetic, competitive atmosphere.
Sticks can be provided. Mouth guards and shin pads are recommended. If you're looking to get into shape, play again or just getting started, this league is for you. Cost is $80 (covers all league and facility fees).

There will be a registration day on January 13 from 6 - 7 p.m. at the Western Christian School gym lobby. To sign up, fill in the membership form and e-mail it back to the league office.
2006 - 2007 U18 Indoor Recreational League
The U18 Indoor Recreational League is a mixed league for boys and girls of all skill levels under the age of 18.The league will run from November 4 to January 27, for a total of 9 weeks with a Christmas break. See the schedule of dates below. Games are once a week on Saturday's from noon to 2:00 p.m. This program offers a great way to learn the indoor game. The style of play is similar to Regina’s Elementary School League. Sticks will be provided. Cost is $70 (includes membership and all other league fees) or $30 if you are already a SFHA 2006 - 2007 member.
